Fragrance Free Skincare Products I Love

Fragrance in skincare products can cause sensitivity for the skin. My skin is slightly sensitive but I wouldn’t say my skin type is completely sensitive. I do use skincare products that have fragrance in them but lately I have been on the search to incorporate products that are fragrance free. Please note that although these products are fragrance free some of them still may have a scent to them from their raw materials. If there is a scent I will mention this in my review.
I’m not here to dive into the science behind it! I’m just here to share some good fragrance free options so let’s get started! P.S I will keep this post updated as I discover new products so feel free to come check back!
All the products listed in this post are products that I have personally used and had a good experience with!
Fragrance Free Skincare Products: Cleansers
These products are listed from products I love to products I have had a good experience with it.
First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser [$11]
- Great for sensitive skin
- Clean at Sephora
- Cruelty Free
I really love the texture of this it’s lightweight and airy. Although it can take some makeup off please don’t rely on this as your only item for makeup removal. It will not take the makeup off completely. This product also feels nourishing on the skin!I really love the texture of this it’s lightweight and airy. This product does work good with the FOREO Luna 3. This product has no scent to it from the product’s raw materials.
Drunk Elephant Beste No 9. Jelly Cleanser [$32]
- Clean at Sephora
I thought this was a really good lightweight formula. Also, it helped me get rid of a pimple I had under my skin that just wouldn’t go away! It’s a jelly consistency cleanser. It does have a slight smell to it but I’m not entirely sure how to describe it, I guess it’s perhaps the smell of cantaloupe.
Bliss Clear Genius Clarifying Gel Cleanser [$13]
- Great for Acne Skin
- Super Affordable
- Vegan [Not all products from the brand are vegan but this one is]
- Cruelty Free
This product has BHA in it so it helps with controlling acne. I honestly wouldn’t really describe it as a gel formula because it definitely feels thicker than that. It comes in a soap pump kind of packaging so it’s quick to use. I wouldn’t recommend taking this for travel though as it is likely to spill. I did use this with my FOREO Luna 3 and had a good experience with it.
Olay Gentle Foaming Face Cleanser [$4]
- Very Basic
- Low price and easy to find (bought this at the grocery store)
This was the first cleanser I used when I moved back to America from India. There was nothing wrong with this cleanser at the same time there was nothing great about it that made me stay with it. It’s a thick white formula. I honestly just think I didn’t take the product seriously because I found it at my grocery store.
[Not all Olay products are fragrance free this happens to just be one of them]
Fragrance Free Skincare Products: Moisturizers
These moisturizers are listed from moisturizers I love the most to moisturizers I have used and had a pretty good experience with.
First Aid Ultra Repair Moisturizer
- Clean at Sephora
- Great for Sensitive Skin
- Cruelty Free
This one is amazing! Super lightweight and absorbs into the skin quickly. My skin feels silky and smooth when I wake up in the morning to wash my face. It’s also designed for sensitive skin so if you have sensitive skin then try this.
Milk Makeup Vegan Moisturizer [$19]
- Vegan
- Cruelty Free
- Gluten Free
I was really surprised by this moisturizer. It looks lightweight but it’s super thick when you put it on the skin. This product caused zero breakouts and it felt moisturizing. I also loved the finish that it gave to the skin. It gets absorbed really fast and it’s almost like you never put anything on your skin.
CeraVe Moisturizing Cream [$12.49]
- Easy to find at many stores
- Great Value! Low priced for the quantity you get.
This was a great moisturizing cream and it’s been over six years since I have used CeraVe products. Not that I didn’t like them in the past, but I feel like I just forgot about the brand and overlooked it. I tried a sample of this cream and I’m usually not a fan of creams on the face but I actually like this one. The product is easy to warm up in your hands and smooth it all over your face. What I love about this is it has hyaluronic acid so it keeps the skin moisturized. You can definitely feel that smooth and silky feeling on your skin in the morning when you wash your face from the night before’s cream. Another plus point is it can also be used on your body so if you are traveling then you can carry less products.
Olay Sensitive Calming Facial Moisturizer, Fragrance Free with Hungarian Essence [$15.99]
- Find it at your drugstore
- Thicker cream
I actually wasn’t a fan of this product at first but it’s kinda grown on me. Not sure why this is called a moisturizer as I would definitely put it in the category of a cream. This definitely would make a really good neck cream. You should definitely kind of warm up the product in your hands so it’s easier to spread over your face. I have gone through two containers of this product.

Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream [$58]
- Recommended for ages 35-60
- Moisturizing enough for winter skin
I absolutely hated the smell of this product at first because it’s fragrance free and the raw materials smell awful, but eventually you get used to it and it doesn’t bother you. This cream absorbs into the skin really fast which is my favorite part about it so I can get right into applying my sunscreen over this. It also moisturizes the skin well enough for winter time.
Clinique Dramatically Different Jelly [$16]
- Goes well before makeup
- Transparent formula
Whenever I use this product it’s almost always before I do my makeup. I find that it’s the perfect combination to go in with a primer. It also absorbs quickly so it’s great when you’re in a rush. I also like to mix this with my foundation when I’m going for a more sheer look.
Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer Sensitive Skin SPF 15 [$6.99]
- Lightweight
- Affordable
This is a super lightweight moisturizer with no white cast. It absorbs into the skin quickly and doesn’t make your face greasy. The only downside I would say is that it is SPF 15 which is barely enough coverage from the sun. So far I have only been using this indoors but at least some coverage is better than none.
[Not all Olay products are fragrance free this happens to just be one of them]
Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream [$68]
- Good for anti-aging
This is a bit of a thicker moisturizer since it is a cream. It almost reminds me of Indian Butter (ghee). Definitely very moisturizing but I will note that it burns when I put it over my dry skin. This cream is filled with protein and is definitely good to help with anti-aging.
Vicky Mineral 89 Hyaluronic Acid Face Moisturizer [$29.99]
This product is somewhat of a mix of a serum and a moisturizer. This is the only product I have used from this brand and I had a pretty good experience with it. The product is somewhat of a gel formula.
[Not all products from this brand are fragrance free.]
That’s it for fragrance free skincare products! There are some other skincare products I have used that are fragrance free but they’re not cleansers or moisturizers and I didn’t have a lot of products in that product’s category so I decided to leave them out of the post. As we see more products coming out there’s definitely a growing collection of fragrance free products. So this blog post will definitely will be updated! So be sure to subscribe below to stay updated to this blog.

Learn about Fragrance in Depth
Want to learn more about fragrance? Read articles from The International Fragrance Association! I also watched this video from the EcoWell when it was streaming live and this definitely shaped my opinion about fragrance in skincare and taught me a lot.
Overall, will I go fragrance free for all my products. No. I don’t think it’s necessary to go fragrance free in all my cosmetics. However, there may be certain products where I do want to go fragrance free like my moisturizers. Especially with products I use on my arms, I may want to go fragrance free since I have keratosis pillars. Or maybe I come across a product I reallWhether you choose to go fragrance free or not it’s up to you!
