How to Get Rid Blind Pimples Effectively

What is a Blind Pimple?

Have a painful pimple that is under the skin? This is an example of a blind pimple. A blind pimple is a term used for acne that has developed under the skin. You can’t see it but you can feel these blind pimples. The best solution to get rid of blind pimples is micro points and in this blog post, I will be sharing with you what these are and how to use them.

What is a Micropoints/Microdart/Microneedle Patch?

Products that come with microtips which based on the product can be used to target underlying blemishes, dark spots, fine lines/wrinkles, and dark circles. For the purpose of this blog post, I will be focussing only on products that heal underlying blemishes.

Who sells these?

The following brands: Hero Cosmetics, Dr. Jart, Zitsticka, and Peach Slices. My favorite is the Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch Micropoints for Blemishes is my favorite! I have also used the Dr. Jart ones which can be found at Sephora. I do not recommend Rael’s Micropoints as this product did absolutely nothing for me! The Zitsticka and Peach Slices please try at your own risk as I have not tried these products yet. Does a Microdart Patch hurt?

Surprisingly no, I was expecting the application of this to be painful but it wasn’t. The sensation is kind of hard to describe. It’s almost tingly like a not-so-painful bite. It’s hard to explain 😂 This is what I experienced at first with micro points but lately I don’t even feel this after using them so often.

That transparent circle on my chin is what a Hero Cosmetics Micropoints patch looks like. I often apply these to my chin as that’s where I breakout often.

The Stages of a Pimple

The Early Phase– This is when the blind pimple is forming under the skin and it’s usually painful and also slightly red.

The Eruption Phase– This is when a whitehead has formed.

The Healing Phase- This is when the pimple is gone.

This was when I used Hero Cosmetics Micropoint for Blemishes. The pimple I had here was on my cheek and quite painful

The Process of Treating a Blind Pimple with Micropoints

  1. First use a micropoint product like Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch Micropoints for Blemishes
  2. Then after about 6 hours take it off.
  3. Wait until a whitehead forms
  4. Apply a whitehead patch like Mighty Patch Original or Cosrx Pimple Patches or Peace Out Acne Healing Dots.
  5. After the whitehead is gone let it heal. You can use Hero Cosmetics Rescue Balm to speed up the process.

Blue Light for Pimple Treatment

Another alternative to using micropoints is using blue light for acne treatment. I actually like to use this with micropoints to help speed up the process. Blue light will kill the acne-causing bacteria.
